Acquire the Fire

“Acquire the Fire” is a cool Christian youth conference that’s coming to Fresno. The dates are March 20-21, 2009 and the Fresno event will be held at People’s Church. The theme of the conference for this year is “Here Comes Trouble.” Registration material will be out soon, make sure you get yourself signed up with Adam by February 15.
So, I was looking at the promotional video and it seems to have a sort of game/puzzle built in. See if you can figure it out, or post your progress here. I’ve gotten into it, but I sort of got stuck. Let me know what you think. Check out the video to get started:

Ok, so I got to where I texted the thing to whatever number, but I got that code that you got…..

So, in case there are any of you out there who are trying to follow along. Let me bring you up to speed about this post.
This video is a trailer or the Acquire the Fire theme for this year. (a conference we’re planning to attend in March)
So if you watch this video carefully (or not so carefully), you’ll notice a web address that flashes many, many times it says http://www.seventeen-six.com
When you go to this site, you’ll notice (especilly if you hover your mouse over the text) the text
IF YOU’RE READY TO MAKE SOME TROUBLE,
TEXT “CLEARVIEW” TO 77812
When you send the text message, you’ll receive the response:
“So you wanna cause some trouble, huh? You’ll have to keep up. The boss spoke in codes, so we do too. Meet us here: SQBBYDWQBBJHEKRBUCQAUHI”
To decipher the code, substitute the letter 10 past the one given. ‘S’ becomes ‘C’ and ‘Q’ becomes ‘A’ and the code reveals the phrase CALLINGALLTROUBLEMAKERS
When you go to the site http://www.seventeen-six.com/callingalltroubemakers you find:
GLAD TO SEE YOU COULD JOIN THE PARTY.

If you leave this page open without doing anything for 5-10 minutes, the page will change to read:

Okay, so I had to ask my friends at school for help with this one. After watching the second video, Glitch, over a thousand times (well not really), forward, backward, and slowed down, my friend asked if I had checked the page source. I asked how and he said on the first website http://www.seventeen-six.com, you go to view-page source-you scroll down to the bottom of the page and it says
!WELL WELL…LOOKS LIKE YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO CAUSE A REAL RUCKUS…TEXT “ACLOSERLOOK” TO 77812…WE’LL BE IN CONTACT…–>.
So, I had my friend text ACLOSERLOOK to 77812 and it came back. Well, you will have to text it to see what it says. The second video really has nothing to do with how to get the second text back.

Sara, all your thingy does is get me back to the ‘glitch’ video. So yyeeaahh…..Plus, I found out, this company for the texting or whatever doesn’t live Verizon, at least, I don’t think so haha. It took nearly 4 hours the first time and hasn’t responded yet this time so Jackie helped me out
