Thanks to all of you who have been following us and praying for us as we have journied to New Orleans and entered into Jesus, Justice and Jazz here through the programs of the National Youth Gathering. Sorry that there’s been a break in our coverage of our adventures. This is due to the strain of the schedule we are keeping and because there is just so much going on. Check out these pictures and videos and I’ll try to offer a bit of commentary.
A Nice lunch with outside seating (we looked good in our Tie-Dye thanks to Dawnette)
In the interaction center, a team holds a pole steady while one teammate climbs to the top.

Kai made it to the top. Pretty cool!
Our team is competitive and we’ve enjoyed some team sports in the interaction center. We’ve taken on churches from around the country in Volleyball, beach Volleyball and soccer.
As we enjoyed the challenge of collecting all the In-n-Out hats, we’ve enjoyed giving them away and meeting new friends.
Worship with 35,000+ in the Superdome has been amazing!
An introduction to our Arts and Culture track in the Interaction Center - we were working on dance moves led by a Speaker from India! We’re having a good time.
We helped by pounding some nails to build walls that together with Habitat for Humanity will become homes for people in New Orleans.
Bumper Bikes! It was a lot of fun! We think we want some at church.
We’re doing our best to experience all this place has to offer.
That’s all of us!
An amazing experience!
The evening worship services are amazing and I believe you can even watch them live. Check here for info about the live stream as well as other general info and highlights from the gathering.
