Deck the Halls!

Advent is the season in our church calendar when we talk about preparing our hearts and lives to receive the coming of Christ. Our high school youth really got themselves into the holiday spirit during youth group this past Sunday night. We assisted the women of the church in decorating the beautiful Christmas trees that will adorn our Worship Center during the rest of Advent and into the Christmas season.
We had a fun time hanging ornaments and we felt very stylish in some of our “best” (read- least attractive) holiday attire. We have lot’s going on and look forward to seeing all of you soon. You’ll want to be sure to attend our Youth Christmas Extravaganza on Wednesday, December 16 from 500-730pm for a fun evening and a special surprise. ‘Tis the season - fa la la, la la la, la la la.
Oh, and since it’s the season for giving - we’ll be giving out a special prize (along with our thanks and admiration) to the first youth who comments on this post. (Don’t worry if your comment doesn’t appear immediately - we have to approve comments first, but we’ll know who you are).

we are a family! i have to say thats wat i feel like everytime i come to youth group i feel so comfortable with all of you i feel so accepted and thankful…i love you guys!!!

Awkward family pictures are always a blast and I’m glad that when we all go there it isn’t awkward. Only in the pictures
