For Everything there is a Season

Date February 28, 2010

It is with sorrow that we announce that Arty Contreras has ended his employment with Hope Lutheran and his involvement as worship leader for our youth ministry program.  Arty has been a great part of our group and we have been blessed by his gifts of music and his passion for sharing his faith.  We wish Arty well as he moves on into a new season of his life and the next steps in his music and ministry.

Of course this transition is difficult for us and difficult for Arty too.  To respect Arty’s desire to move on, and to make this change as easy as possible for him and for our youth ministry, we ask that you refrain from contacting him.  Arty will be at Hope this Wednesday night (3/3) to say “goodbye” and to share his thoughts on his time at Hope.

If you’d like to send remarks or best wishes to Arty, please feel free to write him a letter and Adam can make sure he gets it, or you could post a comment here.  These are the best ways for us to share our thoughts with Arty.  It will be tough to move on without Arty, as he brought so much to our group, but God is good and I am confident God will continue to be good to all of us.  Blessings to you all.

Your Pastor, Adam Knudson
