Wednesday August 25th, 2010  — 5:30pm

It’s a new school year and we know your calendars fill up quickly.  the Answer youth ministry has planned a parents informational meeting that we expect all  youth  and there parents  to attend. At this yearly meeting we will have the 2010-2011 medical forms available to fill out and other important forms and other  information that you may need about our ministry. This meeting will help you to understand what our ministry is all about and what are goals are for the year.  It’s very important to make every effort to attend this information meeting. We make every effort to make our ministry one where your child can experience God through several different aspects of living a Christian life but we can’t do it alone. We need to be on the same page as the parents who are in the lives of there children everyday. Thank you and see you at the meeting.

Acquire the Fire (ATF)

March 18th-19th, 2011

@ Peoples Church - Fresno, CA

Cost: $40

Collisions happen all the time. It’s part of our human experience. Some are accidental, others intentional; they can be physical or emotional. Either way, people get hurt. Some collisions are trivial, like stubbing your toe or skinning your knee. Others are devastating—being constantly bullied at school or harshly abused at home. Injuries from most collisions leave prominent scars, but the most traumatic collisions take place inside and leave wounds no one will ever see. Countless people live in broken families with broken hearts. Everywhere people are used, abused, ridiculed, rejected, ignored, and abandoned. They live with the hurt, pain, and destruction of these collisions everyday. You may see it in their eyes, you may notice it on their arms, or you may not notice it at all.

Acquire The Fire is confronting collisions head on. Young people from coast to coast will hear that God wants to comfort, heal, and put them back together. Although the enemy continues to steal, kill, and destroy, Jesus binds up the brokenhearted, proclaims freedom to the captives, and releases prisoners from the darkness. God is the only one who can restore a soul, heal a heart, and change a destiny. God will mend the broken at this year’s Acquire The Fire. Visit www.acquirethefire.com for more imformation.
