What are your plans for your spring break? Our plans are to be at BreakAway and we want to invite you to join us! This is a spring break mission outreach that will change your life, help you grow in your faith and deepen your relationships with other kids who have the same heart and similar values. You might be asking … Where are we going?  We’re going to stay right here in Fresno.  We’re going to sleep in tents on the campus of Peoples Church.  We’ll have all of our meals prepared for us.  We’ll have some great teaching and great worship.  We’ll work together through acts of service within our own community.  Our week will end on Thursday night with an awesome concert with the Rock and Worship Roadshow.  The concert will include MercyMe, David Crowder*Band, Family Force 5, Francesca Battistelli, Fee, Remedy Drive and Sidewalk Prophets. Rock and Worship Roadshow 

Thursday- April 1st, 2010- 7pm

Cost: $10 (At the door)

In follow-up to its successful debut in 2009, the 2010 lineup has been revealed for the 2nd Annual Rock and Worship Roadshow. The stellar cast includes the talents of MercyMe, David Crowder*Band, Family Force 5, Francesca Battistelli, Fee, Remedy Drive and Sidewalk Prophets. Last year, the Rock and Worship Roadshow drew more than 170k fans to major cities across the U.S. and this year hopes to continue to attract people by the thousands providing them the best entertainment along with a meaningful message. “We are so excited to be back for this tour with such an incredible group of artists,” says MercyMe’s Bart Millard. “We’re going to have a great time.”Admission prices will again be $10 at-the-door, as the tour aims to be an event for fans of all ages, especially families.  In addition to bringing a night of exciting performances, the tour is also dedicated to a much greater purpose:  helping children with juvenile diabetes via “Imagine A Cure”, a non profit organization geared to raise awareness and to support research that will lead to a cure along with Compassion International, a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.  Hope Lutheran Youth & Family Ministries invites you and your family to enjoy this night of amazing bands, worship experience, and meaningful messages. Spring Celebration- Great America

the Truth & the Life (7th-12th)

Come spend the day with us at Great America where we can ride roller coasters all day and then in the evening “Rock Out” at a Concert in Great America’s Amphitheater. The Christian bands & Artists that will make the day a blast are Third Day, David Crowder Band, Brandon Heath, and Thenth Ave. North. Along with amazing music during the evening, Matt Pitt a motivational speaker will be encouraging us in our lives of faith. This day is sure to be a great time and we would love to have you join us! Summer Camp 2010

Save the Date !  Summer Camp will be an exciting opportunity for our youth to grow in their relationships with God and with each other and it’s coming this summer!

Shalom Camp @ Mt. Cross (July 11-16) - * REQUIRED for Confirmation

Sherwood Forrest @ Calvin Crest (July 18-24) - entering 4th-6th grades

Outpost Camp @ Calvin Crest (July 18-24) - entering 6th-8th grades

High School Camp @ Calvin Crest (July 18-24) - entering 9th-13th

Please REGISTER NOW so that we can plan accordingly and so that we can make sure to have enough SPACES and COUNSELORS avaliable for each camp session. Space will be available on a first come first served basis. Reserve your spot today by filling out this FORM and returning it with a deposit of $50 per camp session desired.
